Hello and welcome to The Ring Atelier, a Bristol based metalwork studio set up by Goldsmith Sophie Stamp. We design and make fine jewellery, bespoke engagement and wedding rings and heirloom / milestone jewellery, and we also invite couples into the studio to make their own wedding rings. Whether it be wedding or commitment rings, or simply a token to celebrate a special time or event, people looking for an alternative and more meaningful experience are choosing to get creative with their partner and make the rings themselves, here at our Bristol studio! Couples can choose to make their own rings or each others, to make it even more special. With over 14 years experience as a Goldsmith, founder and tutor Sophie is there to guide you through the process from start to finish. The rings are crafted by hand from recycled precious metals and completed within a day. If you love the idea of having handmade wedding bands but would prefer to have someone else do the making, we offer a bespoke design service. Perhaps you want something that fits snugly around your engagement ring, a band encrusted with diamonds, or to recycle sentimental gold into your wedding rings? Sophie will work with you to design & make the wedding bands by hand to your exact specifications.

NEW BEGINNINGS … Phew!! What an intense couple of months it’s been! Mixed emotions as we said goodbye to Bristol, our home for the last 6 years, and all the lovely friends and colleagues made along the way.

Thanks so much to all the wonderful people I have had the pleasure to work with so far on this journey. It’s been so lovely to support you in making your wedding rings, hearing your stories, creating unique and gorgeous jewellery for you and just getting to know you ❤️ I will be forever grateful for your faith in me and my small business.

For now, a slight pause whilst I get to know my new home in Belfast in beautiful Northern Ireland. A chance to work on the new collection which has been in the pipeline for so long 🫶 And of course catch up on posting about the lovely commissions and workshops from the past months.

COLLECTION ADDITION! 🙌

My scalloped wedding band in 18ct yellow gold, made last year when and I made our own wedding rings together ❤️ The design is inspired by an ancient posey ring from the British museum archives, shaped to fit around my stunning engagement ring.

This ring forms part of my growing collection of wedding bands, available to commission in a variety of widths and metals, and can be shaped to fit snugly next to your engagement ring👌.
