The hardest part of losing a child is wondering who they would have been. 🤍

What would they have looked like? What would their laugh have sounded like? What music would they have listened to? What would they have wanted to be when they grew up? What would their life have looked like?

There are so many little things I'll never get to know, and I think that's one of the hardest parts of baby loss. It's not just missing the moments you had, it's grieving all the moments you should have had.

12 years on, I don't wish to change my story. I have two beautiful rainbow children who came into my life after my son, and I couldn't imagine my world without them.

But that doesn't mean I don't wonder. It doesn't mean I don't think about the little boy my son would be today, the things he might love, the person he might have become.

Because you can be grateful for the life you have and still grieve the life your child should have had.

And I think that's something only another bereaved parent can truly understand.

If you find yourself wondering who your baby would have been, please know you're not alone.

For every baby gone too soon.

For every mum and dad who carry a love that will last a lifetime.

Our babies may not be in our arms, but they will forever be part of us. Loved beyond words. Missed every day. Remembered always.

If this touched your heart, please share it for another grieving parent who may need the reminder today.

Angel Of Mine is so much more than jewellery to me.

Over the coming year, I have so much planned, and I hope you'll follow along as I continue to grow this little business into something truly meaningful.

My dream is to help more bereaved mums, dads, grandparents, brothers and sisters find ways to keep their precious babies and children close, while also finding meaningful ways to support Sands and the incredible work they do for bereaved families.

I want to build a community where our babies and children are remembered, our stories are heard, and no family feels alone in their grief.

If this is something close to your heart, I'd love for you to follow Angel Of Mine and be part of the journey.

There is so much more I hope to do, and I'm only at the beginning. 🤍

Some photographs touch your heart in a way that words can hardly explain. 🤍

When Abbie shared this beautiful photograph from her wedding day with me, I was genuinely so touched.

Abbie wore her Angel Of Mine necklace, engraved with her precious daughter Lottie's handprint and name, so that Lottie could be close to her on such a special day.

The thought that a piece of jewellery I created was part of that moment, helping a mum carry her little girl with her as she began this new chapter, means more to me than I can ever express. Thank you, Abbie, for trusting me with something so precious and for giving me permission to share these beautiful photographs.

Our babies should never have to be absent from the moments that matter most. They are part of our stories, our families and our hearts, always.

I also want to take this opportunity to shine a light on Abbie's new page, Lottie's Legacy. Please visit and follow her on Instagram here:

Also: Lottie's Legacy UK on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/14s4ae4cH33/

Please show Abbie some love, follow her journey and support the awareness she is raising in memory of her beautiful Lottie.

As women, and especially as mothers who have experienced loss, we know how much it can mean to feel seen, understood and supported. We don't always know what someone is carrying behind the scenes, but a kind word, a follow, a share or simply showing up for another woman can mean more than we realise.

Let's continue to lift each other up, make space for our babies' names and memories, and remind one another that we never have to leave our love behind.

Thank you, Abbie, for sharing Lottie with us. Sending you so much love. 🤍

A little update from behind the scenes! ✨

My new bracelet boxes arrived today, which means things are starting to feel a little more real.

Now, I just need to find a spare moment to get my very first bracelet engraved! Because apparently, you can't launch a bracelet without a gorgeous presentation box.

I'm hoping to have the first bracelet live on the Angel Of Mine website before the end of the month, and I'm SO excited to start expanding the collection and what I can offer.

One step at a time, but I'm getting there, albeit slowly ❤️

Some losses change us forever. And some loves stay with us for a lifetime.

Grief looks different for everyone, but beneath it is a love that mattered, a connection that will always be part of us, and memories we carry in our hearts.

Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, there is no timeline for grief and no right or wrong way to remember someone you love.

You are allowed to miss them. You are allowed to talk about them. And you are allowed to carry their memory with you, always.

Where there is deep grief, there was great love. 🤍

For the parents who carry their baby everywhere, even though no one can see.

Each keyring is laser engraved with your baby's real handprint and name, made by me in Northern Ireland, a parent who carries mine too. Made to carry the babies in our hearts a little closer. 🤍 Link in bio.

The most painful thing wasn't always what people said. It was what they didn't.

For a long time, I didn't talk about my baby. I could feel how uncomfortable it made people, how conversations fell silent, and how quickly the subject changed.

So I stopped talking.

But over time, I've realised how important it is to speak about our babies. Because every time I share my story, someone tells me theirs. A miscarriage years ago. An ectopic pregnancy. A baby they've never felt able to talk about again.

Baby loss is far more common than many people realise, yet so many parents carry their grief in silence, wondering if anyone remembers their baby.

That's why Baby Loss Awareness Week matters.

If you've lost a baby, I see you. Your baby matters. Their life matters. And you should never have to feel that you must keep their memory quiet to make others comfortable.

And if someone you know has experienced baby loss, you don't need the perfect words. Say their baby's name. Ask about them. Let them know their baby hasn't been forgotten.

On Thursday 15 October at 7pm, I'll be lighting a candle for my son, Jackson. 💛 If you'd like to, join me in remembering your baby, too.

Let's be less quiet. Let's make space for their stories, their names and their memories.
