Today marks the final day of our fundraising campaign for Emily’s Star, and we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this cause throughout May.

Whether you’ve had a watch battery fitted, dropped some change into our collection pot, or shared kind words and encouragement, every contribution has helped support the amazing work Emily’s Star does for local families.

Over the next few days, we’ll be counting up the total amount raised from our watch battery donations and collection pot, and we’ll be excited to share the final figure with you very soon!

A special thank you to everyone who donated via our collection pot in-store — your generosity has been incredible and is very much appreciated.

From tomorrow, we’re proud to be supporting an incredible charity close to our hearts — Emily's Star💛

Throughout May, we’ll be donating £1 from every watch battery sale to help support the amazing work they do for families with babies in neonatal care.

Many of you will know Jordan and Charlotte recently welcomed baby Josie, who arrived a little early and spent some time in hospital. During that time, they were supported by Emily’s Star — something that meant so much to us as a family.

If you’re popping in and need a watch battery, you’ll be helping a brilliant cause at the same time. And if you’d like to give a little extra, we’ve attached a QR code to this post for additional donations.

You may have noticed Jordan has been missing from the shop for several weeks, and we have been quiet on social media — that’s because he and Charlotte welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Josie, in February this year! 💕

Josie was born prematurely at 35 weeks and needed some extra support during her first couple of weeks, but we’re so happy to share that she is now thriving and settling into home life.

During their time in hospital, Charlotte and Jordan were supported by Emily’s Star, receiving a care box and access to the snack station in the neonatal unit — small gestures that made a huge difference during a difficult time. This wasn’t the first time Charlotte experienced their kindness either, as she received the same support when her twins were born prematurely in 2017.

As a heartfelt thank you for the incredible work they do, throughout May we will be donating £1 from every watch battery sale to Emily’s Star. We’ve also included a QR code in-store and attached to this post for anyone who would like to make an additional contribution to this amazing charity.

Jordan will be back from his extended paternity leave very soon and can’t wait to see you all ❤️
