Hi, I’m Debbie SH, based in Belfast.
With 37 years in the hair industry, I’ve seen trends, techniques, and education evolve—but one thing has become clear: many stylists today are missing the strong foundations that used to be standard.
My focus is simple—bringing hair education back to basics.
I specialise in cutting and styling, teaching simplified techniques that actually work behind the chair. No overcomplication, no unnecessary steps—just real skills that create the hair your clients are asking for.
This year, my education is built around:
• Understanding how and why we use products—and how to layer them properly using O&M styling products
• Creating strong foundations for cutting and styling
• Making high-quality education accessible and affordable for everyone
Through my experience in salons and education, I’ve seen a growing gap. Many younger stylists don’t have access to the kind of training days that shaped my career. Limited opportunities and high costs are holding them back.
I want to change that.
Great hair doesn’t need to be complicated. With the right foundations, it becomes straightforward, achievable, and consistent.
My goal is to give stylists the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills they need to grow—without feeling overwhelmed.
