Just a few birdies from my latest, Garden visitors inspired collection 🌿🌷🐦‍⬛

I grew very fond of the little bullfinch pendant, because it reminds me of my first trip to the Dolomites, where on a hike, in a forest, I’ve got to observe a pair of Bullfinches playing around 🌿🥰
So I made a matching version for myself that I wear often as a reminder of this sweet adventure. 🌲🪺

We had many staying over for winter in our garden when I was a kid. I appreciated them for bringing birdsong to us even during winter. They were always a symbol for me, that spring is never too far away.

I’ve been working on a new, spring themed shop update for a while now, but I am a bit behind with getting everything ready, so it had to be delayed a bit... 🌿

Hopefully everything will be ready by the end of next week! And the new, spring inspired collection (including this little bumblebee 🐝), will be available on the 2nd of March 🌷.

The first ceramic pendant I’ve ever made was a jumping fox.

Since then, I recreated this little fox many times, but I still think about the first one that stared me on a completely different path and made me change from working with polymer clay to ceramics.
•
When I started, I really didn’t know how this material works, (you can see how I didn’t manage with the glaze so the surface turned out super matte).
•
But after a lot of trial and error, I fell in love with this material and I am so happy that I got to work with clay every day 🌻🌿
•

This little guy is still up for adoption on my website! 🥰

The funny thing about him, is that he has an almost identical twin, that I made a few months ago. It is one of my favourite necklaces, that I wear all the time, so whoever gets this little fella will have a matching necklace with me 🥰✨🌻🐦‍⬛
