Nesting Brooch
Year 2026
Materials: milk collector, recycled paper, h**p yarn, stainless steel, paper pulp, stainless steel.
We continue nesting. In this piece, I used some h**p yarn, recycled paper, paper pulp adding layers. The nest has been built without haste, carefully selecting the materials, allowing enjoyment in the making without regard for time, while maintaining a steady rhythm in its creation.

Nesting Brooches
Year 2025
materials: Milk collector, paper, paper pulp, recycled fabric, canvas, acrylic paint, oil paint, garnets, stainless steel
The Nesting series offers a poetic and symbolic exploration of the concept of home, approached through the image of the nest as an archetype of protection, belonging, and origin. Through the language of art jewelry, these pieces take shape as micro-narratives that allude to the intimate —both personal and universal— process of building a refuge.
The nest, understood here beyond its biological function, becomes a metaphor for emotional memory, inner growth, and affective rootedness. Each brooch embodies a slow and patient process of construction, selection, and layering of fragments and small components that, in an intuitive and meditative manner, gradually give shape to the whole. The forms evoke organic structures, while the materials —chosen for their symbolic and sensory resonance— reinforce the idea of a delicate, subtle habitat in constant transformation.
Inspired by the phrase “home is where the heart is,” the series invites reflection on the search for home as an inner journey toward the vital and energetic center of the heart — rather than a territorial pursuit. A space that is inhabited through connection, intention, and emotional bonds.

Reconstrucción - Reconstruction

Series of necklaces, brooches, rings, and bracelet
Year of creation: 2017–2018

Materials: 950 silver, fabric, wool, cord, polymer clay, acrylic paint.
Technique: mixed techniques, assemblage

This series explores the inherent human capacity for continuous reinvention and reconstruction. Through lived experiences, accumulated learning, and the scars that mark our journey, a narrative of resilience is woven: a constant act of reassembling fragments to create something new.

The works in this series evoke this process of transformation, where remnants of our personal history converge to shape new identities and meanings. In parallel, the series reflects on the construction of our environment—the home as an extension of the self—an intimate space that we continually rebuild and transform in harmony with our inner evolution.

This duality between the internal and the external reveals a profound dialogue between the individual and their world, emphasizing the endless cycle of renewal that defines our existence.
