Our program:
As we all know the early years of a child's life are the most critical, that's why we exert more effort in implementing a suitable program that will help us create a successful learner, a problem solver and a decision maker. Queen Bee Nursery follows an internationally recognized curriculum (The Creative Curriculum) designed specifically for children from birth to 5 years of age
The
philosophy behind our curriculum is that young children learn best by doing. Learning isn't just repeating what someone else says; it requires active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work and to learn firsthand about the world we live in. In their early years, children explore the world around them by using all their senses (touching, tasting, listening, smelling, and looking). The most important goal of our early childhood curriculum is to help children become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and to think their own thoughts. Our goal is to help children become independent, self confident, inquisitive learners. We're teaching them how to learn, not just in preschool, but all through their lives. We're allowing them to learn at their own pace and in the ways that are best for them. We're giving them good habits and attitudes, particularly a positive sense of themselves, which will make a difference throughout their lives. Indoor Learning Environment:
Our indoor learning environment is composed of interest areas or what we call "Learning centers". These learning are designed to support children's development as follows:
• Creative Center: Where children hold markers, crayons, glue, beads and other objects using fine motor skills to make specific strokes or figures. They also are left to manipulate different open ended materials and express their emotions, identify and label their feelings through visual arts.
• Dramatic Center (Pretend Area): where children are encouraged to take on pretend roles and situations, initiate discussions of similarities and differences, discuss time concepts: past, present and future, learn about people and how they live… etc all through using their imagination.
• Nature Center (Science and Discovery): Where children are exposed to natural materials and encouraged to manipulate them and explore them freely to learn about what the world is made of, grasp simple scientific facts and grow knowledge and understanding of the world. They also get to wonder "what will happen if.." and test possibilities demonstrating cause and effect.
• Games Center: Where children become involved in one activity out of several options, and are guided in finding multiple uses for classroom objects and are given the chance to learn about math concepts for e.g. Sorting objects according to size color or shape

• Blocks Center: Where children are given tasks to sort objects, use comparative language and notice details.
• Writing Center: Where children are encouraged to use their imagination in drawing shapes, letters and number, manipulate drawing and writing tools and master their use.
• Reading Center: Where children are encouraged to retell stories they have heard and act out main events of familiar stories using different props and reminded through story telling with various self help techniques and golden rules.
• Music and Movement Center (Media Room): where children are given time to dance to music of various culture

Sunday – Thursday from 8 am – 5:00 pm (extra hours service is also available for convenience)
