Maggot Explosion. We found this deer on the side of the road. He was already riddled with maggots but we decided to bring him home. We did not expect a maggot explosion.

We were heading home when we spotted a roe deer in the middle of a freshly mowed hay field. He probably cowered in the tall grass and was too scared to run away. Unfortunately he perished under the tractor and the hay mower. Maggots had begun to feast on his open wounds. Naturally we brought him home with us.

I wanted to take the raccoon dog with me. But he was so stinky that i decided to pick him up on the way home instead.

I found two animals on my way home today. One was a young little fox and the other was a raccoon dog. I will use one of them for taxidermy
