Last week, a US brands reaches out to me and asked how to prevent quality incosistence from bulk?? As jewelry manufacturer for over 10 years, i would like to share with several points from sample to mass production.

1: Have pre-production meeting which involved in PD, mould and material sourcing depatment, will discuss the production technique and foresee problems.

2: Make pre-production sample for approval, and if there is thing need to make range board such as color , beads element, it should send together with PP sample.

3: After PP sample confrimed, it should have standard workflow and first right sample for each production deparment. It makes sure that all runs under the right processing.

4: It need to do inline inspection no matter out sourced material or raw castings, which also makes follows right procedure.

5: It must do relavant testing ,such as salt-spray, sulfide, drop and pull test which makes sure all function is well.

6: Final inspection after packed,inspite checking the jewelry itself it should also check if all package and label is correct. Then, it can be delivered.

I always believe that quality is produced, not inspected.
