Happy Monday, friends.
It’s a slow one over here — the kind where you take an extra minute with your coffee and let your thoughts drift a bit.

I keep thinking about how many women I know who don’t feel like they have time to be creative anymore.
Not because they don’t want to — but because life fills every corner until there’s no space left for the things that make us feel like ourselves.

That’s been on my mind as I plan out my summer, especially the June polymer clay workshop I’m putting together. Something simple, gentle, and fun… the kind of creativity that fits into real life.

I’m still shaping the class, but if carving out a little creative space this summer sounds good to you, drop a 🌿 and I’ll keep you posted.

At almost every vendor event, someone picks up a pair of earrings and says, “Oh wow… I could never do this.”
And I always smile because honestly? My very first pieces were actually pretty great — this is just how my brain works.
But here’s the thing: polymer clay isn’t about being naturally talented.
It’s about playing.
It’s about experimenting.
It’s about letting your hands remember what it feels like to make something without pressure.
And if something doesn’t turn out? You just roll it back into a ball and try again.

I’m planning a polymer clay workshop for June because I want more women to feel how good it is to create again.
I don’t have the details ready yet, but if trying something creative sounds fun (even if you think you “can’t”), drop a 🌿 and I’ll keep you in the loop.

I made some really cool earrings today and they’re way too pretty not to share 🤣

They’re not sanded or glazed yet, and I still don’t know if they’ll glow under UV light — but I’m obsessed with how that dark pewter turned out in the design.

I honestly don’t know if these will be for sale because… I kinda love them all 🤣✨

The Celebrating Moms Craft Show is officially underway at the Rodd Grand Hotel, and the room is full of amazing local vendors, handmade goodies, and so much creative energy.

The book excitement has completely taken over my week, which means my clay table has been sitting there untouched… until today. With Mother’s Day coming up and a day at the Grand tomorrow, I finally sat down to start creating again.

They’re not ready yet — but I do have a little sneak peek 👀✨

I hopped on live to ‘chat for a minute’ and ended up rambling like a woman who’s VERY excited about her book and the Maker Lounge. Zero regrets. The future feels huge and I’m just getting started.

There are only 2 more days until my book is officially available for purchase — MY book. I still can’t believe I finished it, held it in my hands, and shared it with the people closest to me… and now with all of Facebook.

Erykah Badu said it best: “Now keep in mind that I’m an artist, and I’m sensitive about my sh*t.”
And honestly, I’ve never related to anything more. I’m excited. I’m proud. I’m panicking. I’m being seen in a whole new way. It’s a lot — in the best, scariest way.

But here we are.
