The veil is thin as it is directly across the Wheel of the Year during Samhain, when the Sun enters Mars ruled Scorpio.

I wanted to share a magickal acquisition, this mid century Scarab Bracelet. This talismanic style of adornment arose during a period of interest in Egyptology beginning with the discovery of King Tut’s tomb in 1922. From the 1930’s to the 1950’s this particular style of bracelet became a symbol of protection and fortune for its wearer. The reverse of each carved scarab cabochon is hand inscribed with sigils of themes of attunement, connection, protection and power. This particular piece features 5 elemental glass scarabs and has entered my world as a ritual adornment for my work with Tarot. Thank you for your ongoing skilled work as finders and keepers of treasures such as these.

Welcome to Ta**us season, and the 4th Decan of the zodiacal year, Ta**us 1, The 5 of Pentacles. I like to call this card The Outsider. What makes you feel like an outsider? How can you reconcile with the worry of not fitting in to traditional norms? Weirdo Mercury marches to the beat of their own drum, and that can cause discomfort in Ta**us, the realm of the conventional Hierophant.
