June’s edition of The Indigenous Art Mail Club is here❗️In June you will receive a themed curated set of new pre-release artwork including:
• 1 5x7 art print
• 1 Bookmark
• 1 Small Sticker Sheet
• A letter explaining the monthly theme, meaning of the artwork work, relevant words in anishinaabemowin, and/or culturally relevant information about the artwork.

Mail club is $20CAD per month including shipping in Canada! Shipping internationally is $2-$4.
Retail value of all the items every month is at least $34 before shipping. Mail club pricing is exclusive to the mail club.

This is an opportunity to share art, writing, and reflections from Indigenous youth responding to and impacted by climate change, where fire rages, and ice recedes. This issue centres the voices of youth witnessing these changes, and invites us to reimagine what could be.

We are located in Winnipeg Manitoba. It’s a hard cruel and cold city. It’s not safe each and every day for an Indigenous woman to even step foot outside her home. Then those of our beloved sisters who are unhoused, living in pain, being targeted and trafficking exploited and dehumanized. I cannot imagine the horrors they have to live with and the dangers always lurking. One thing I want to say ever loudly is Indigenous woman are not trash, they are not deposable, they do not belong in dumpsters left unalived. They are sacred, medicine, beautiful, deserving, they are nothing that colonialism and colonial violence has centred them within. We see you, we love you, and we cherish you. Your lives matter to us and we love you.

Tomorrow is World Water Day. It is a yearly United Nations initiative to bring attention to issues around the theme of the year. This year it is gender equity focusing on women and girls.

Here is the link to read more about this historic and life changing call to action recognizing women and girls as being centre to having healthy water and healthy communities.

World Water Day celebrates water and inspires action to tackle the global water crisis. On World Water Day 2026, we will explore the critical relationship between water, women, and gender equality.
