Ok, it’s no secret, I’m obsessed with brownies. And chocolate. And sugar. I had a request for multi-tone brown square coasters. Yay, new mold!! It turns out, brown is the hardest colour to work with. The tones completely blended on my first attempt. I decided to try a new technique on the second attempt and voila! The different shades help create depth in the swirl.

This set is being delivered tomorrow to someone as a Mother’s Day gift. I absolutely love how the striations turned out on these pieces. It was extremely hard to capture the colour but it’s a berry wine colour.
