Happy Year of the Horse!

It’s the time of the year when I truly tune in to my lineage and deeply appreciate the beauty of Chinese Calligraphy.

This is the art that takes years to develop, not just the skill. It’s the eye to see the beauty in each stroke; the structure and flow of each word when put together; of course, the steady hands and the determination and intention of each stroke.

There’s so much depth and I’m truly fascinated by it, I would easily get into a flow and write for hours nonstop🌱

Maybe this is the definition of one’s “spark”.
And I’m so thankful that I get to do what I love ❤️

💜 Nature is always my muse. 💜

​T​he deeper I walk this path of creation, the clearer it becomes: to create is to commune with the divine.​

I got to spend a brief moment underneath the cascading violet wisteria, and I felt the whisper of nature move through me—soft, fragrant, ​timeless.​

Carrying that light of beauty, I couldn’t help but let it bloom once more ​on these iconic Jo Malone bottles with petals that blooms in eternity.

Art, to me, is being a prism—catching the light of the world and reflecting it with ​all my heart and soul. 💜

May you see what I saw, and feel what I felt​.​

Reflecting back on the 3-day On-Site Monogram Painting event at Monos Kitsilano, and I’m still in awe of the magic we created.

Surrounded by the timeless aesthetic of the store, the respectful and inspiring clientele, and an incredible team that truly brought the vision to life — every moment felt like a brushstroke in a beautiful story.

As an artist, there’s something deeply rewarding about creating in the presence of those who are appreciate craftsmanship and artistry. It’s not just about the work we do, but the energy exchanged in every glance, every smile, every shared moment.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this experience unforgettable. It’s the memories, the connections and the magic of creation that truly make moments like this so special.

I chose a very simple and classic font for this bottle, and embellished with round and loopy flourish to add the whimsical touch.
