creating “things” is kind of my everyday life in the current state.
I create metal pieces, stone setting pieces, wax carving pieces as a student, and lash sets as a lash artist .bywip basically everyday. 🙃🙃

creating “things” makes me happy, it’s like expressing myself with the “things” i created. My thoughts, my style and my persistency. 🤓

this dangling ring with stone popped up and has been on my mind for quite a while. Made with 925 sterling silver with the stone cut out from my bezel project last term. this is the first little side project I made with the home bench. 🙂

jil jil - my little guy for the spaceship creative project🥹🥹
didn’t take a lot of photos of it but making 3D objects out of metal plates always amaze me.

we are now at week 15, which is the final week of the Fall term. few more days to get everything done💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Spent 2 weeks on this Bezel (and stone setting) assignment.
Ended up having one faceted stone set crooked 🥲 a lot of interesting lessons learnt and i could temporarily get away from the angry cat crying (made by using the ball bur and setting bur 🙉)

sterling silver base plate & sterling silver bezels,
3 x faceted stones,
3 x oval cabochon (thanos color!)

Copper sphere. Nothing seem easy to make something into 3D from a flat metal plate. The temperature for copper soldering is so different from silver🥵🥵🥵

from Sawing -> filing -> daping -> more filing -> soldering -> sanding -> texturing (steel wool)

The two weeks with this sterling silver Toggled Chunky Chain Bracelet.
It’s not perfect, but there’s always room for perfection🥹

from alloy casting -> wire rolling -> wire drawing -> jump rings making -> soldering (A whole lot of soldering…) -> cleaning up -> polishing -> tumbler polishing. 😮‍💨😮‍💨

moving on to the bezels and stone setting. more to share 🌝🌝
