Inspiration for KURA’s collections are born from Erny’s extensive travel experiences to exotic places around the world. “Every country or city, or even island I visited, has its own distinct soul which evoked inspirations in different ways. Such as, Brazil for its zest of life and festivity; St. Tropez for its glamour; New York for its edgy chic; LA for its Hollywood glitzy glam; Istanbul for its Middle Eastern meets West influence; Santorini for its romantic tranquility. Paris..Barcelona..Venice..Capri..Ibiza..Bali..and the list goes on.”
" I am also inspired by women; women on the street, my clients, and my girlfriends. Each collection that I designed,I have certain type of individuals and personalities in mind. I find myself constantly tuning into what design and color hue that will accentuate the beauty of each woman because each individual is special and has her own look, style, and personality. "

ABOUT ERNY
Indonesian born Chinese, a graduate from business schools in Los Angeles, California- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University and Master Degree in Business Administration from Woodbury University. After 10 years in banking industry, Erny left her last position as Vice President in one of the top European Private Banks in Singapore and pursue her passion for jewellery. She enrolled into GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and earned her Jewellery Design Diploma, Diamonds Diploma and Pearl Diploma. GLOBAL CITIZEN
"Due to my husband's job's nature, we move to a new country every 2-3 years. (No he is not a diplomat, but a banker. It's exciting and challenging at the same time. "
Having been living in different part of the worlds have inspired and influenced KURA's design. Erny has lived in Jakarta, Los Angeles, Singapore, Hong Kong, Algiers (North Africa), and is currently living in London with her husband. LIFE MOTTO
