The Cakroll is a brand created by two Brazilian women, mother (Ana) and daughter (Fernanda), from a family that has always been linked to gastronomy, pastry and their own businesses in the field.
The idea of The Cakroll came up with the planning of Fernanda and Ana coming to Canada, even before they came here, Ana suggested that they bring some typical Brazilian cuisine here, as a way to help with their income. That's how Fernanda took the “cake roll” course in Brazil and got ready to bring this delight to us. Later, Fernanda's sister-in-law Andressa also came to Canada and joined the family business.
In the words of Fernanda herself “Cooking has always brought me an affective memory and today it is what we seek to bring to our customers: this taste that goes back to our roots is what, in a way, brings a hug, a comfort for us immigrants.”
Every Friday, Bonita will indicate a local business and/or a woman entrepreneur, here on our Instagram.

Vicky Essential Oils it's Virginia's Instagram, a döTERRA consultant.
I had the opportunity to meet Virginia at the Portal Delaz Christmas Party, we shared the exhibition table together.
I can see that many people already know her and her products, she was always surrounded by many people throughout the event. And I could also see that she knows a lot about the products, what they are for, how to use them. Each person who arrived there asking if she had something for a certain problem, she explained which oil worked best for that, how to use it, quantity, etc.
Virginia met the brand döTERRA in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. She started using the oils after being recommended by a friend, because she was having trouble sleeping. As the products helped her a lot, she got to know them, knowing more and liking them more and more. So, after having so many good results with döTERRA products, last year she decided to start doing business with the brand, because she knew she could trust the quality of what she was selling.
Today she works with direct sales through Instagram
