Holy smokes it’s been a minute!
Ive been putting off posting videos until I found a solution to my problems. There’s a part of me that feels kinda dumb for not having closed the shop sooner. Its been my mission to keep it open, and I’ve been riding a razors edge the last several months trying to make that a reality. My default when times get tough is to withdraw and bury myself in the work - not only is that not sustainable, but it sucks the magic out of what I’m trying to do here.
There have been many factors contributing to the delays, i’ll go into greater detail in another video. But I can finally say the worst is behind me, and I am steadily moving through orders one by one. I don’t want to be the guy who comes on here and talks about how stressed he is every few months - and I’m aware that I’ve brought this on myself.
Im bubbling over with new ideas that will be on hold until I have shipped every outstanding order, so ive decided to close the store this coming Friday (December 12) until I’m back on top of it! When it returns, things will look different and I will be following a new sales model to avoid this happening again.
It’s still just me making the fish, but I have Eric helping with packing, shipping and emails so I can focus 100% on production - it’s actually his birthday this week! It’s hard to explain how grateful I am for everyone’s understanding and support while I figure this out, it’s humbling. This was not part of the plan and I’m doing everything in my power to make it right! So thank you, and we got this!
