Wow, who else is finding the weather in Ontario to be uncharacteristically muggy and humid today??

Our horses have access to several different types of salt, so they can choose what they want or crave during the heat, and stay hydrated.

Loose salt offers a much higher uptake of salt to horses because their tongues are smooth (unlike cows) so they can get more from the loose than from a salt block. We also see some of them frequent the Himalayan rock on a rope , so options make for an enriching environment.
