We see time passing in the most mundane things— the kettle boils, the flowers wilt, we grow old. Spring returns, the sun rises, and somehow we even know that sand was once rock. We pass on traditions, and pass each other on a walk, we finish a book, we take the cake out of the oven. Take some time to celebrate a beautiful exhibit about and On Time.

It’s not hard to see that I’m very touch-and-go in the posting department. So let me post this placeholder of the things that I loved this March.
1. From my series of bouquet drawings.
2. Sandhill cranes at sunset in Nebraska.
3. A V of Sandhill cranes the following day.
4. Flying in the clouds over the upper Midwest.
5. Canada geese flying north over southern Ontario.
6. The drive home from my birthday weekend with my boys. ☁️🤍

I’m very happy to say that a new collection of my fringed vases are now at the recently reopened, and absolutely stunning new . The renovated ground floor of the museum is so fresh and bright and shows Indigenous and contemporary ceramics in a beautiful and inviting space. How lucky we are to have a museum dedicated to ceramics in Toronto!!

Fun people of Montreal—
I’m delighted to be part of Amphora: 100 Vases and Floral Inspired Treasures.

The opening party, happening a week from Thursday, is sure to be a fabulously festive evening. I hope you can make it! (And please send photos since I’m up to my earlobes in kids’ art camp this month and can’t teleport myself to Montreal for the night. 💫)

Thank you for curating and showing what will certainly be a beautiful exhibit of handcrafted items including, but not limited to, ceramic vases! And thank you .mtl for hosting Amphora, because you are one of the loveliest shops I know of - filled with all sorts of desirable gifts and home decor and much more.
