Super happy with how this somewhat updated reproduction ring turned out. Sterling Silver with a green tourmaline and black enamel. There's something really special about the original and I was excited to use it as a baseline. You can see the original inspiration in the final image. I think this style would make an amazing engagement ring as well.

Had a wonderful time making this reproduction medieval ring in 14 karat gold.
We modified the motto to something that resonated for my client, - suivez la raison. Or "follow reason" interspersed with leaves and flowers. The final image is the original source material.

I think this ring will work really well for both modern and medieval wear and I'm delighted that I got to make it!

Very excited to be shipping out this strong silver reproduction of a Roman era ring.
I love the soft lozenge shape. I think this would be a great signet style to customize as well.

Just a few rings I finished up recently. From left to right, my moonstone moonphase ring. A brand new medieval reproduction ring with a green tourmaline and black enamel and a reproduction medieval poesy ring with the motto, to et escrip Mon cuer in medieval French. ( You are written on my heart)
All in sterling silver.

It's so lovely to see my rings worn on someone's special day. Thanks to Brynn for this beautiful photograph of the ring I made a few months ago on the new owners wedding day! This ring is made from palladium and a lab made diamond, a really special project and I was honoured to be able to make the rings for this new couple!

Making beeswax candles at a 14th century reenactment over a fire. It was a bit hot to lean over the fire for 2 plus hours but I went into full hyper fixation mode and had a great time.
I am working on a more medieval style riveted brass beeswax container for the next one!

A lot of the things we do and use are not morally neutral and it's important to be able to acknowledge it. Since LLM's are such new technology I think it's important that people grapple with the consequences of its use. Hank using AI without acknowledging this nuance really makes it feel like he isn't thinking through the ramifications as he should be as a science educator.
In the meantime. Here is me making a ring based on one believed to have belonged to the black prince in the medieval period.

Wow! What an incredible event!
We had an amazing turnout of armoured and unarmoured fighters, helpful and supportive squires and a lot of friendly supporters! We raised over $3000 for West Neighbourhood House and our hearts are full! A huge thank you to our members who traveled a long way from Ottawa and Sherbrooke to be here. Members from 9 separate sword schools were in attendance!
It's heart warming to be able to give back to our community in this way .
