Heading to training camp in Cancun, Mexico!
Chloe started competitive swimming at age 11 in 2015. She quickly qualified for Provincial Championship meets at the AA and then AAA levels. Her favorite discipline is Freestyle, excelling at the premier events 50m and 100m. She also performs well in the individual medley thanks to strong butterfly and backstroke performances. Chloe swims for the Pointe Claire Swim Club, the premier swimming team in Quebec. It has been the biggest and most successful team in the province for over 10 consecutive years. The Pointe-Claire Swim Club is very proud to have consistently sent swimmers to the Olympics for the 50 plus years of its existence.
In 2018, Chloeβs last season swimming for Club Hippocampe in St-Hubert, culminated with a Silver and two Bronze medals at the Jeux du Quebec 2018. She won three Silver medals in the AAA Provincial Championships and competed in the Eastern Canadian Championships and the Junior Canadian Championships.
Last year, her first with Pointe-Claire, she won Gold and Silver medals at the PCSC short course invitational meet, competing against 1000 swimmers from Victoria to Newfoundland. Chloe also won Gold and Bronze medals at the Greater Montreal Athletic Association Swim Championships. At the Winter Provincial AAA Championship, Chloe won three Gold, one Silver and two Bronze medals and set a new Provincial record in the 4x 100m Freestyle team relay helping PCSC win the overall competition. At the 2019 Eastern Canadian Championships, she was a finalist in four of her five events each new personal best times and helped her team in four relays to again win the overall team competition.
Chloe is focused on the Pointe-Claire Invitational in December 2019 and the Cancun training camp in Janury 2020. She is within 2% of the times required to race at the Olympics Trials for Team Canada in Toronto at the end of March 2020. The ###II Summer Olympic Games take place in Tokyo, Japan starting in July.
