If you’re looking for something quick + yummy to make for supper tonight, this is it! Let me know how it turns out…this got a solid 9/10 in our household yesterday. 😋

🥣 Creamy Chicken Gnocchi Soup (Easy + Cozy Version)

Ingredients
   •   4 tbsp butter
   •   1 cup celery, chopped
   •   1 cup carrots, shredded or finely chopped
   •   1 medium onion, finely chopped
   •   4 cloves garlic, minced
   •   1/4 cup flour
   •   4 cups chicken broth
   •   2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
   •   1 package (16 oz) potato gnocchi
   •   2 cups heavy cream
   •   3 cups fresh spinach
   •   1 tbsp fresh thyme
   •   1–2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
   •   Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions:
1. Start the base
Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add celery, carrots, onion, and garlic. Cook until softened (about 5 minutes).
2. Thicken it up
Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
3. Add broth + chicken
Slowly pour in chicken broth, stirring well. Add shredded rotisserie chicken and bring to a gentle simmer.
4. Make it creamy
Stir in the heavy cream, thyme, and fresh dill.
5. Add gnocchi
Add gnocchi and cook for 3–5 minutes (until soft and floating).
6. Finish with greens
Stir in spinach and let it wilt.
7. Season & serve
Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm and cozy.

✨ Notes (the little things that make it better)
   •   Rotisserie chicken = faster, more flavour, zero extra effort
   •   Fresh dill adds a subtle, cozy freshness (trust me, it works)
   •   If it thickens too much, just add a splash of broth

If you're looking for a fun little DIY for yourself or the kids, I made these HE(ART) rackets using thrifted tennis rackets and yarn. I drew out a heart on paper, cut it out and then roughly drew it directly onto the racket grid. Grabbing a large needle and some red yarn, I essentially embroidered the heart on. I started with a very long piece of yarn and started weaving. Eventually, that ran out and I tied another strand to the end of my first piece and continued until I was done.
I'm not gonna lie...I had to try it a couple of times before I got the heart pattern like I wanted. Give it a try and tag me if you post it!

I was back at the bread-making this past weekend. I thought I would try a Rosemary Garlic Focaccia...and it didn't disappoint!

The slow rhythm of it.
Hands pressing dough.
Waiting. Watching. Letting things rise in their own time.

It’s creative in a way that asks nothing back.
Calming. Rewarding.
A reminder that not everything needs to be rushed or perfected to be beautiful. I had no idea that baking could be this satisfying.

What is the one thing that you bake or cook that has become your "signature" dish?

This is my trying new things era 🤍, a series I think will guide me this year.

This past weekend looked like baking a loaf of milk + honey bread from scratch.
A recipe I found on TikTok.
No childhood bread-baking stories.
No secret family recipe.
Just curiosity, a warm kitchen and a willingness to try.

It didn’t need to be perfect.
It just needed to be made.
I think I surprised myself!

I think this year I want more moments like this.
Small experiments.
New rhythms.
Letting home be a place where I learn as I go.

The real stars of the show are my 1998 mixer, my own patience and my family willing to get in line to try my bread, piping hot out of the oven!

What should I try next?? ⬇️

This page has held a lot of chapters.

Jewelry benches, tiny details, late nights, learning how to build something with my hands and my heart...not to mention a thriving business that started as a hobby.

These days, creativity looks a little different. More paint. More home. More slowing down and listening to what actually feels grounding. A new year where I actually listen.
Still building a business but in a different industry and craving the outlet that making jewelry became.

I don’t think we outgrow creativity.
I think it just asks us to meet it in new ways.

Have you noticed your interests shifting too? With age, a new season or a new outlook?

Hi.
It felt right to come back here...I know it's been awhile.

This space started as a place for handmade jewelry and meaningful moments. Life has shifted, grown, surprised me… and so has my creativity.

A new year feels like a clean page. I’m leaning back into art, home and the kind of creativity that doesn’t need to be perfect to be meaningful.

If you’re still here, I’m really glad.
Tell me what this season feels like for you...we need to get reacquainted, friend!
