Yesterday was a special day.
The great stirrup maker Keith Wilson had a saddle on order from his friend and client, Chuck Stormes, and I had the privilege of creating the silver for it. Sadly, Keith passed away before he could see the finished saddle.
Yesterday, Keith’s son, Kelly, who is proudly carrying on his dad’s legacy, invited a small group of friends to Chuck’s shop as the saddle was finally picked up. It was a heartfelt celebration of Keith’s life, craftsmanship, and the friendships he built along the way.
It was truly an honor to be included in such a meaningful gathering and to have been a small part of this special saddle.
