We were privileged to spend a weekend at this most incredible place - a piece of paradise that keeps calling us back to its shores - if you are looking for an exceptional place with so much to do from microlight flying to a home theatre with private screenings - hot tub & fresh water lake for kayaking or a refreshing swim or just relaxing in the hammock as the deer wander past and a polish rooster leads his chicks around! Don’t hesitate to book - you will arrive as a guest and leave feeling like family ❤️I highly highly recommend this intoxicating place that will steal your heart and whisper in sweet dreams as you fall asleep to the sound of a chorus of night time stars and a moon that shines brightly as though you were it’s only guest!

This is an art work that I have from the Port Medway Lighthouse Artshow-
It’s called “South Shore Social” size is 42” x 38” on wood frame ready to hang - it is a collage piece with papers, inks , charcoals, acrylic and encaustic - it was selling for $1800 at the show but I am willing to look at any reasonable offer if it goes to a good home🙃which I’m sure it will 🙃

The method I use is in laying layers down and finding ing the right piece for each part just as in life as we grow each year we had layers to our lives - then I start to excavate the work in certain areas i have to back to find & acknowledge what’s been what’s happened and how to move on - I never have a complete I am always asking a higher power what does it mean and why - this piece speaks to me of South Shores love of small sweet gatherings were friends & family that are always around with music playing , laughter in the air and the lingering fragrance of summer in the air - we share stories of joy, heartbreak & triumph and find the gold in all who we love & welcome - I hope you like it - it’s the story of a journey that we are all on and we are better when we stand together and face the sun ❤️there is always a better brighter day on the horizon-I know because I’ve been to the edge and made it back!

“Readers” 60”x48” collage on stretched gallery profile canvas-
Whenever I find myself in a new place the first thing I do is to join the library or find the closest book store- spending hours holding new found treasures - the best part is holding them close and taking in the smell of all the history, adventures and such that lay hidden between the covers - this is inspired by my great love of books even though I have dyslexia so it takes my twice as long to read but actually even that is such a pleasure as I have longer to be intoxicated by the turned pages -

This was inspired by a picture of my Mother, she was very loving, generous & shy and had been bullied all her life, she also had lost 2 of her children - so she had a great sadness & fear of the world- she had a favorite chair where she could sit and watch the world go by - i lost her to cancer 11 years ago - I loved her so much and miss her everyday- I painted her in my favorite colors as I find those colors to be filled with great joy ,hope and the promise that she now watches the world from heaven ❤️
