Nervous Habits started off as She The Wolf Accessories in 2012 and comes from the busy hands and busy brain of Jess Santos. All items are neurotically handmade by yours truly! As a small-town mountain kid from Northern British Columbia I was pretty creative, always making things with my hands, like a hand sewn dress and hat or a computer out of cereal boxes. I first learned how using in high schoo
l and it was the first hobby I had that I didn't get bored of. In 2009 I moved to Alberta and completed a diploma in Fashion Design & Marketing and a couple days after graduation I moved to Toronto. That year I started She The Wolf Accessories, making jewelry and friendship bracelets because I didn't have much space for sewing. Eventually I got the space and started doing what I do now. I now offer hand sewn and hand printed toiletry, cosmetic and tote bags. While working on building my business I also got a fantastic job at Lilliput Hats, where I worked as an assistant to renowned milliner Karyn Ruiz. It was an incredible experience and I loved being able to help create amazing things for a living, but in early 2016 I decided to leave the city and move to London, ON, where I currently reside. My first endeavors have been organizing London's first Punk Rock Flea Market in partnership with Live Free or Die Apparel and launching my new maker identity, Nervous Habits!
