A little walk down memory lane... 💖

It's hard to believe that Clipjoy is coming up on its first birthday.

What started as a small table full of clip-on earrings and a dream has grown into something I never could've imagined. Along the way, I've learned so much, met incredible people, and watched this little business evolve with every market.

Today, Clipjoy is so much more than clip-on earrings. We now offer custom pierced options, hand-sculpted polymer clay pieces, trinket dishes, keychains, shoe charms, magnets, and even interactive charm bars where kids can create something all their own.

The booth has changed. The products have changed. My confidence has changed.

But one thing hasn't.

The reason I started.

I wanted to create fun, colourful accessories that made people smile and made everyone feel included—whether you have pierced ears or not. That mission is still at the heart of everything I make.

This past year hasn't been perfect. There have been slow markets, stressful days, and plenty of moments where I questioned myself. But there have also been sold-out displays, happy customers, returning faces, new opportunities, and so many people who chose to support this little dream of mine.

If you've ever stopped by my booth, placed a custom order, shared a post, worn a pair of Clipjoy earrings, or simply cheered me on... thank you. ❤️

Year one built the foundation.

🚨 HOW IS CLIPJOY ALMOST ONE?! 🚨

From a single table under a pink tent... to a booth I'm genuinely proud of. 💖

This past year has been full of early mornings, late nights, countless markets, new products, incredible customers, and so many lessons along the way.

Every market, every order, every follow, every share—it all helped build this.

We're just getting started. Year two is going to be even bigger. 🌈✨💕

Family Fun Fest was such a great day! 💜🎤✨

A huge thank you to Burlington Centre for hosting such a fun event, and of course to Little Jingle Beans Inc. for bringing the magic as always! This was our third time seeing them, and they never disappoint.

Watching Ruby sing, dance, and light up throughout the show was the highlight of our day. 💕

We're already looking forward to seeing them again at Port Credit ONTARIO RIBFEST X next month!!

Sunday Funday at the Burlington Waterfront Festival. ☀️💛

It was so nice to experience the festival as visitors instead of vendors for a change. We enjoyed the sunshine, ate some great food, spent some much-needed quality time together as a family, and it was so nice seeing Ruby back to her happy, playful self.

Of course, I couldn't resist supporting some incredibly talented local makers!

A little Clipjoy update. 💜

As much as I want to be out at markets this summer, life has had other plans.

Many of you have been following Ruby's journey over the last little while. Right now, our focus is on helping her recover after her hospital stay. On top of that, I'll be having my own surgery on Monday (I still can't believe I'm saying that!).

Because of everything going on, we've made the difficult decision to take a break from in-person markets for the rest of July and August. It's not an easy decision because I truly love seeing you all in person, but right now my family and my health need to come first.

The good news is Clipjoy isn't going anywhere! 💕 You can still shop our products at:

Canada Day didn't end the way we'd hoped, but before the storm there were so many wonderful moments worth remembering. ❤️
