Today is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, a day that weighs heavily on my heart.

As someone who works in early childhood education, protecting children is not just my job—it’s my calling. Children are meant to feel safe, seen, and loved. Yet every day, children and teens around the world are exploited, coerced, and trafficked—often by people they know or trust. Human trafficking does not always look the way we expect. It can happen quietly, online, in homes, in schools, and within communities that seem safe on the surface.

Children are especially vulnerable. Poverty, neglect, unstable housing, and lack of support can all increase risk. Trafficking steals childhoods, silences voices, and leaves lasting trauma. Awareness matters because when we know the signs, speak up, and support prevention efforts, we help protect the most vulnerable among us.

Recently our essential oil community did an in person event around change of life for women. I also know a lot of women in my friendship circle and work circles who just run hot never mind going through a change of life. Here is a little DIY you can do to keep yourself cool. I used this blend on my feet when I was pregnant to cool down my feet when they were on fire.

This is one of my GO to products and I think it's super underrated if you ask me. It basically replaces your polysporin but can be used for so much more. I've used it for hormonal acne, hand foot and mouth, burns, scratches, cuts, blisters, scarring, bug bites, and honestly any skin irritations to be hones even eczema flair ups (and I layer it with other skin specific oils).

BUT what gets me is the price, the Correct X tube is $19 and a pea size amount gives you quite a bit of coverage, but I did the math for you (in Canadian Dollars) IF you purchased all the oils in this tube to create your own ointment or blend it would cost you $311 (and that's the whole sale price, which means each oil is already discounted 25% off the retail price). The retail price would have been double that. SO your literally saving yourself $292 buy purchasing the Correct X tube!!!

I also included a little testimonial my cousin sent me. He used Correct X on his face to heal a wound, each day taking a picture of it's progress. The healing was crazy and it didn't even scar.
