Tân’si ☺️ this is long overdue given I started this account years ago lol but I just wanted to introduce myself!

My name is Sierra and I am a Métis woman that resides on Treaty 6 territory with relations tying to Fishing Lake.

I first learned how to bead in Sept of 2021, although I didn’t finish what I started, I still came a long way and showcase my unfinished earrings (6th photo) as a reminder that no one and nothing is perfect and that is okay!

I love passing on the traditions that were taught to me or what I have learned on my own especially when it comes to beading, every opportunity I get to teach I take it! This is because I know how it feels to not have been raised culturally so even having just a tiny bit of it in our lives helps us feel a sense of belonging and purpose ❤️

Fun facts about me: I have a deep connection to foxes (if that wasn’t obvious lolol, I love the colours green and pink, I just got my bachelors in psychology!!)
