Hello Ayr and surrounding friends! In the spirit of community and reducing waste in our landfills, I have organized a community trunk sale! ☺️
Ever want to do a yard sale but you live on a super quiet street? Don't have a yard? Or your condo board doesn't allow them? Or maybe you love going to yard sales but it's hard to find them/get to all the different spots. Well this is a great opportunity for the community to come together in one spot to buy and sell! :)

Where: the NDCC West Wing parking lot (I will put out signs and a map) 2958 Greenfield Rd, Ayr, ON N0B 1E0

When: Sunday October 26th from 12-3pm. (setup to start at 11am)

Cost: $5 per parking spot (you can buy 2 if you want more space!) This fee will only go towards the costs (renting the lot/insurance & maybe some posters/signs) Any additional money made from seller fees will be donated to It Takes A Village Ayr. :)

Pull your car into a spot and sell out of your trunk and/or set up a table or blanket with your things. (BYOT bring your own tables)

Trading or giving away things for free is also welcome and encouraged!

We will have some sidewalk chalk and maybe some games for the kiddos to hang out and play and you are welcome to bring picnic lunches!

Come thrift with me!!! 🤩 Only 7 spots left! June 22nd 10-5pm. Don't have a car but want to go thrifting at some cool spots? Hop on the bus with us! I will do a pickup in KW for anyone that can't get out to Ayr. 🥰 It will be a super fun day! And if we can fill the bus up we can do it again! ✨

Come see me at my last market of the year and for the foreseeable future! 💖 Taking a step back from markets to focus on my health and family so this will be my last for a while! I will have surprise bags and some sales going on to try and find homes for my pretties! 🥹 I will also be purging some of my personal witchy collection to have a new life as I'm downsizing my altar. 🥰

Auction!!! ✨ I have decided to start doing little auctions here and there if they go well! For my first one, I would like to do an auction for this watermelon necklace I've made. 75% of the proceeds will go towards a GoFundMe for a family in Gaza! The remaining 25% is just to help cover my supplies because times are tough 😅

I've added rings and a few other goodies to my website 🥰💖✨ I'll be slowing down with the amount of markets I do so I would really appreciate you considering shopping on my site and sharing my posts to support my business! You can use code PICKUP at checkout and we can arrange pickup within KW and Ayr. Shipping is available as well. 💖
I'll be transparent and say that I've been struggling to keep going with my small business. Most market fees are inaccessible and it's never a guarantee that you make enough to cover your fees and other costs, let alone pay yourself for the hours you put in.
I did some loose calculations for the month of June just to take a peek at how I did. I haven't even subtracted the cost of gas, packaging supplies, or any other costs besides vendor fees and insurance. Before subtracting any of that I can't even pay myself $5 an hour. So while it may seem like me and other small businesses are super busy all the time, don't assume that means we're making good money!
I'm lucky enough to have had some other opportunities come through and focusing more on my services like readings and rituals has helped too.
All this to say, it's hard out here trying to make it on your own. I just want to be transparent and remind y'all that small businesses need your support.

Thank you SO much to everyone who has purchased either a Palestine bracelet or Pride bracelet from me so far!!! I tallied up all the donations for the last month and we were able to donate $107 to and $195 to a few different Palestine causes. I did donate to Action for Humanity as I said I would, but I also chose to find some individual go fund me's through to help families directly!
I am overwhelmed with gratitude for your support. When talking about these bracelets I've been telling folks that as a small business trying to support my family, I don't have enough cash flow to pay all my bills sometimes let alone donate but what I do have is beads, skill and time!
Thank you for helping me help others.
