Composition research part III ~ The design process never starts the same way.

For these four models, my initial inspiration came from the central diamonds. By they cut and colour. Then, I wanted to add some sparkle, so I experimented with smaller diamonds on the sides. After that, I made some sketches to capture the idea, and now, it’s time to turn the drawing into a 3D model.

Jewelry making is all about precision, but when I’m designing, I love the freedom to be a little clumsy.

When I was designing my wedding ring collection, I ended up with a few leftover pieces. I rarely take the time to make something just for myself, but last year, I did. And honestly, once isn’t nearly enough.

I loved wearing it. It was one of my go-to pieces for months. Slightly larger than my usual designs, but it still kept the essence of my work. I lost the original this summer before I could even post about it. Luckily, I recreated it for a client in January, so I have a trace of it and I’ll be able to wear it again soon, but the ache of losing something you love never quite fades…

Would you prefer it in white or gold? Mine was matte gold.

Each model is available in different thicknesses, the Loa, for a long time, existed in only two versions. The thin and the mid.
I recently made the thick version for T&T in white gold. Which one is your favourite ?

You can find on slide 1 the Loa thick in 18k white gold, slide 2 the mid in 18k yellow gold and on slide 3 the thin model in 18k rose gold.

Arone is one of the chunkiest model from the Mute collection. Its appearance evokes both the moon and the claws of a mystical crab we could imagine discovering in the wild waters.

I haven’t shared this with many of you, but in reality, every name in this collection is tied to an existing place on the island that originally inspired me.

This earring is made of 18k champagne gold, set with salt and pepper diamonds. Each piece is tailor-made and can be crafted in the colour of your choice.

Would you go for yellow, champagne or black?

Old gold holds sentimental value passed down through generations. I understand how hard it must be to let it go and the trust it takes to entrust a jeweller with such a precious legacy. Sometimes heirloom jewellery are the last connection we possess to mourn and remember someone we deeply loved.

While some designs cannot accommodate this request due to technical limitations, others can.

The Flood model can be entirely custom-made using your own gold. Do you prefer it bold or delicate? Flat or rounded? Or whether to include gemstones? I am here to listen and create. My goal is to bring your vision to life, crafting a new amulet that reflects your personal story. The images below offer a glimpse of its several appearances, but the possibilities are endless.
