I strive to enhance their significance worldwide
and cultivate this proud passion to all. My Goal
To grow and enhance the universal recognition and ongoing promotion of the small growers of Champagne, by hosting champagne tastings, private events and organising personalised tours. Was gracious, giving, held compassion, strength of character and brought peace and friendship to all. Her house was warm, welcoming, perfumed of baked brioche and biscuits, it was a house of blessings and non-judgemental unity. She now rises with the vivacity of each mornings light, softly sails through the trees’ breeze, smiles beyond the stars’ sparkle and subtly glows from within the eloquent beads of champagne.. This is Winnifred and I am blessed that she has inspired me. I now welcome you, into the house of Winnifred, and in turn, let me inspire you. My life. My Love. My Journey.

9 years ago, Nesh & I attended a party at Lavals, with Champagnes & producers filling the room, celebrating this beautiful moment away.
On this very night, unknown to me, Nesh kept a bottle of Les Cognaux 2015, to be shared at a later stage.
And yesterday. That remarkable day embraced us, totally surprising me and taking this magical moment to another level of surreal. I was lost for words, with such nostalgic emotion and reflection.
The freshness was unreal, madly mineral, the ripe fruit flavours; nectarine, peach, guava,
the profound sensation and energy that was kept after all these years.
This is a magnificent, rare wine and it was an unforgettable day.

Synergie 2020 - Slight cognac, rockmelon, pear, white stone fruits. A gorgeous deep rose gold robe. Sweet apricots, a soft bitterness coated in a creamy mouthfeel, the juiciness, the energy, the harmonious synergy is sensuous, sublime. Thank you so much Alex for this sensational wine ❤️

Two fantastic sessions. A room full of Champagne lovers. 8 spectacular masterpieces. An unforgettable and truly great evening as we celebrated region Champagne over this special time of year ❤️

1985 Meunier - As rare as they come.

Thank you so much Nico for this marvellous wine, that was the birth to your powerful Champagnes of character and stamina,

Luscious, that longed your palette with tertiary apricots, cherry, dark chocolate, mandarin. It was gorgeously aromatic with rich stone fruits, wofts of whisky, cigar. A wine of 40 years, there was still a sweet lush, that gave into ripeness, age, a modest balance that was massively enjoyed.

Birthdays are better here at Winnifred’s!

Winnifred’s is named after my grandmother, who welcomed everyone through her door with great warmth and vivacity - leading to our informal motto ‘everyone’s welcome at Winnifred’s.’

If you’re joining us for a drink, lunch or dinner today, walk through the lobby from the bar to the bistro and say happy birthday to the doyenne who started it all. She’d be 103 today ✨

It was a huge honour to firstly welcome Gregoire and secondly celebrate Champagne Salon Delamotte amongst the company of loyal Champagne friends of this magnificent domaine.
A sincerely generous, exquisite, a truly marvellous and memorable degustation. Thank you so much Gregoire & Ned for giving Winnifred’s the opportunity to hold such a special event of rarity 💛

Just a quick recap of an incredible evening with Sébastien Mouzon of Champagne Mouzon-Leroux last night ❤️

You might have missed this wonderful evening, but there are so many more, with so many more incredible growers, to come.

It is wonderful for Greg and I to be a witness to such determination against all odds and your resilience to so many obstacles in achieving which must have been an enormous dream but is a tangible reality.
