✨EXHIBITION✨

I’m delighted to share that this piece is showing at the ‘what lies beneath’ exhibition opening tonight 6-8pm and running to 29 March

The exhibition is a showcase of existing work by jewellers that has been tucked away, waiting to see the light of day again. It’s a perfect brief for me—my little baby boy is 12 weeks today, and it feels like it’ll be a while yet until I’m back in the studio and making something new!

This piece is called ‘Daisy Chain’ and was first exhibited in 2023 as part of a group exhibition

It is made of fine and sterling silver and measures roughly 15.5 x 15.5 x 1 cm

I’ve been working on a big project for a while now—as someone suggested to me, ‘my greatest artwork yet’

Over the next few weeks I’ll be winding down to prepare for baby, and will take some time out once baby arrives

I’m not closing up, but putting a pause on my making for a little while so I can immerse myself in a new world with this little creation

In the meantime, I still have stock available through my website, and of course you can get my jewellery from any of my lovely stockists

I began silversmithing as a way to explore my creativity, express myself, to escape a little from the world and to play. These things are important to me, and are all things that I’ll still need to do for myself when I have time. So, when it suits baby and me, I’ll begin to take a few hours here and there to return to my studio and pick up the tools

Thank you to the amazing for this and many other beautiful shots of me and my belly 💖✨

I am so thrilled to be donating this work to the Art Auction, taking place tomorrow, Saturday 18 October Proceeds support local artists through CAPO’s grants program.

I was lucky enough to receive two CAPO grants a couple of years ago, and with that money I bought some fantastic equipment for my practice ✨

I’ve also attended an auction, and they are SO much fun. If you’re in Canberra, I highly recommend you go along!

I’m so pleased that my pendant has been chosen to appear in the Easter Egg Hunt 🐣💖

This piece is currently available on my website and on sale until April

This was the first piece I made for an exhibition that was part of Melbourne’s 2024 Radiant Pavilion jewellery festival, and is a real exploration in my happy place when making

I’m super happy to share that I’ve been selected as a finalist in the established category for PROFILE 2025: the Contemporary Jewellery and Object Award, taking place 13 March to 17 May

The first year I applied for and was chosen as a finalist for PROFILE was back in 2022, as an early career artist. At that stage I had no idea whether I’d continue on this jewellery journey, or where it would take me. It’s such an honour for my name to be included again alongside so many amazing idols of mine, now as an established artist (!)

I’m really excited to be showing three pieces exhibited last year in Melbourne, this time in Sydney, my hometown and where I now practice…stay tuned for which ones!

I have some very big news to share ✨

The time has come for me to close my Canberra chapter and move back to my hometown, Sydney

It’s a real mix of emotions to be leaving a place that has given me so much and where I’ve spent the last 12 years. While Sydney was the first place I picked up a saw blade and became transfixed by the shower of silver dust I made with it, Canberra was the place that nurtured my creativity

From my early days with the lovely .studio to my time learning all sorts of techniques and skills , to finding a new community in 2021 when I began my practice, and since then receiving support from , , , and , I have been extremely fortunate to begin this journey in a place that is so supportive of artists and has such a vibrant, thriving artistic community

I will greatly miss this wonderful place and the people within it who have generously given me so much, but look forward to new adventures ahead in Sydney with opportunities and possibilities that I can’t even imagine, much in the same way I had no idea where my silversmithing path would lead when I began on it back in 2016

Stay tuned for where I set up my practice in Sydney, but as always in the meantime you can find my work though my wonderful stockists or on my website 💖

Open Studios at M16 Artspace this Saturday!

It’s my 3rd open studio as part of this lovely community and an opportunity that I don’t take for granted—it’s a real privilege to meet people who are curious about how I make my work, and as someone who doesn’t often engage with customers in person, a pleasure to see you interact with it 💖

Hope to see you there!

Thanks as always to the excellent staff and volunteers at M16 who keep things running smoothly!
