::ART:: Here’s another little doggo portrait I’ve created recently and I’m now experimenting with adding backgrounds to my pieces. I want to add more colour to my work but my subjects are usually browns and greys so this is the solution I’ve come up with, what do you think? ✖️

::ART:: One of my fave birds, the rainbow lorikeet! I’ve done this one in prisma colour pencil and gouache. Inspired by the two cheekies that hang out on my balcony and enjoy eating the kids half eaten fruit which would be a shame to waste! I love how beautiful and ballsy these guys are, not afraid to shoo away the big sulphur crested cockatoos who also visit our balcony! ✖️

::ART:: I did this small gorilla portrait a while ago, you may have seen the reel I made of my process. Love gorillas, looking into their eyes is like looking into our past. Drawing a gorilla is similar to drawing an older person, they have so much wisdom and soul. I’ve spent some time in Borneo with Orangutans and they have the same soulful gaze.

This one is still available and would make a great gift.
