I spotted these beautiful vintage cloisonné articulated fish pendants in an auction recently and I couldn’t resist them! I watched them intently(ie stalked) and was very happy when they finally became mine.

They will look amazing on a chain either alone or with other charms and their vibrant colours are perfect to add a bit of sunshine to your summer outfits.

Representing abundance, wealth, good luck and protection these gorgeous pendants became popular in the 1970’s to 1990’s.

They are all in fabulous vintage condition and will be on the website soon. DM me if you would like more details now 🐠🐟

Take a look at this lovely vintage silver tone and marcasite bow brooch with its original safety chain.

Traditionally seen as a symbol of love and marriage, bows in jewellery first appeared in 17th century France. The placement of bow jewels during this period was highly symbolic. A bow worn on a ribbon around the neck suggested playfulness, whilst a bow worn near to the heart suggested the wearer was in love. During the French Revolution the frivolity of the bow on jewellery disappeared but reappeared during the Edwardian era and started to feature on brooches, rings, necklaces and earrings. The bow motif endures today often playing a prominent part in luxury jewellery houses such as Chanel. Tiffany and Garrard.

This sweet brooch would look pretty pinned to a jacket or shirt. An elegant and stylish addition to any collection.

Vintage charms are the ideal way to add a little personalisation to your jewellery.

I have a vintage silver articulated fish and dog charm which I regularly add to my favourite chain to create a whimsical and interesting necklace. Or alternatively why not start a collection of vintage silver charms to add to a bracelet.

These charms also make a great gift. An easy and special way to give a little treat or mark an important life milestone.

I also have a m limited number of sterling silver chains and pearl charms if you wish to create a complete necklace.

All online now in the vintage charms collection (link in bio)

Take a look at this gorgeous, ready-to-wear slice of Edwardian history that would make a stunning addition to your jewellery collection.

A beautiful Edwardian gold fill lavalier pendant with an openwork shield frame, a central laurel wreath and a pinky red paste stone. I have put it on a contemporary heavily gold plated curb link chain to create a necklace that can be worn and loved today.

The perfect necklace to wear layered with other pieces from your jewellery wardrobe. A unique treasure available online now.

Has anyone been watching Netflix’s adaptation of East of Eden?

Cathy’s jewellery is beautiful with so many stunning Victorian and Edwardian pieces. Think watch fobs, fancy watch chains, lockets, brooches and guard chains. I love it all and think the stunning Florence Pugh’s portrayal of the monstrous Cathy Ames is mesmerising.

I have some guard chains arriving soon so if you are keen to recreate Cathy’s look …..?

What do you think of the adaptation?
