A customer said this to me today…
“Thank you for all the beauty you bring into the world.”
What a lovely thing to say to someone!
I wrote it down in my notes straight away, so I wouldn’t forget her words.
It’s such a wonderful and timely reminder to me, and all creatives really, that what we create matters.
It matters to people.
It matters to us as creatives.
We have a purpose. And that is to bring joy, beauty, awe and wonder to this world.
I have been struggling the last couple months with what to do...
Do I keep making despite material cost increases, despite the uncertainty of sales and whether what I make is actually what people want?
I wanted to share this beautiful comment, because maybe you are struggling with your creative endeavours too.
Keep creating.
The world needs our art, our creations, whatever it is that you are driven to make.
I hope these words can encourage you like they encouraged me.
