Meet Ida. 🌿

Ten years ago, Ida joined a small group of women in Uganda and learned to roll paper into beads. 🧵 Ever since, she's been one of our incredibly skilled AfriBeads artisans.

She shapes unique earrings, necklaces, and other stunning pieces of jewellery by hand, one bead at a time. 💛 Behind every AfriBeads piece is a maker and her story. Beyond beauty, it's ethical, fair income, and real impact.

We sat down with Ida in the Uganda workshop to talk about her journey. What she's learned. What keeps her going. What it means to create something beautiful with her hands, and support her family.

Handmade by the gorgeous Molly in Uganda, our beautiful new bookmarks are proving a hit! 😀
