What’s the most interesting fact or random saying you’ve ever heard? I’ll share mine first…There was a poster for a movie (I think it was the Bourne Identity) hanging on the wall of a friends share house, the bottom corners were turned in to make a funnel and a basket sat below it, so you could throw your bottle caps at the poster and it would funnel down into the basket. Someone had taken a marker and written on it ‘Always remember not to forget what you do not need to know’ this little saying seemed to stick with me as a reminder that useless information can be useful, knowing pointless facts creates funny conversations which, can lead to that spark of further connection. That’s what I’m looking for when I create jewellery, that little spark that leads to further connection, that moment when you know something is right. And who knows, maybe my creation will inspire someone else to start creating and being random too. So useless facts are indeed useful, I’d love to hear yours…and yes, Mr Cat is in there to judge you 🫶

I see you. You’re a little bit different than the rest and the mass produced flakey stuff isn’t suited to your personality. I make jewellery for women who appreciate quality, character and the unexpected. Women who aren’t looking for the latest trend or something everyone else is wearing.

Is it so hard to believe that I’d rather make something beautiful than deal with other problems ?

You can’t really improve on nature, but you sure can capture its essence. In Australia, we have gum trees…many many gum trees. For the area I live in, it’s hard not to see them when you go out. They really are a symbol of Australia and have unmistakable leaves. These are my Gumnut lead earrings, for the Aussie in you.
