I didn’t take many photos at the last workshop.

I thought I would, but once everyone arrived, I just wanted to be there with them. Watching how carefully they chose each flower or how conversations slowly opened up across the table.

One person shared that she used to press flowers with her mum.
Another came alone and said she just needed a quiet morning to herself.

That’s what these workshops have become for me.
Not just creating something to take home, but creating a little space to pause.

With Mother’s Day coming up, I’ve opened two small sessions.
You’re welcome to come with your mum, someone you love, or just as you are.

Everything is provided.
You’ll leave with your own pressed flower frame, and a slow morning that stays with you a little longer.

There are only 6 seats per session.
You can book via the link in my bio 🤍

I ended up teaching the workshop in two languages.

Charlotte booked our pressed flower framing workshop as a gift for her mum. She came to visit from France. Her 3 week trip turned into more than a month long stay. plans shifted, her flight kept getting delayed and suddenly they had more time together than expected.

Her mum didn’t speak English, so I moved between French and small gestures, figuring it out as we went.

I watched them sit side by side, laughing, pressing flowers into something they’ll take home.

Some of the best moments aren’t planned. They’re the ones life hands you when everything else falls through.

I’ve opened a few spots this week for Mother’s Day. It’ll be a quiet, intimate one 🤍

I kept thinking about you after last weekend’s workshop.

Some of you shared you used to press flowers with your mum or grandma and it stayed with me. Those small, quiet memories.

I didn’t take many photos. I just wanted to be there with you. When you come to a workshop, you’re my focus.

With Mother’s Day coming up, I’ve opened two dates.
Saturday 2 May and Sunday 10 May. It’s my last workshops before we take a break to press the next floral collection. And yesss I press all the flowers for my workshops 💕

If this feels like something you’ve been meaning to do with your mum, or even just for yourself, this is your sign.

You can book through my website or comment below and I’ll send you the link

Tomorrow I’ll be at the gallery sharing a little more about the Blooming Suburbs exhibition and the stories behind the work.

If you’ve been curious about the process or the meaning behind the pieces, this will be a lovely chance to hear about it in a more personal way.

I’ll also be opening the gallery from 11am to 1pm if you’d like to come by, see the works up close, or simply spend a quiet moment with the flowers.

Everyone is welcome🌿

Standing in front of a room full of people, and talking about my work, I never thought I’d be that person.

For a long time, I stayed quietly behind the art as it felt safe.

But this week, being invited to speak for International Women’s Day and share the story behind Blooming Suburbs felt like a pinch me moment.

A small moment of healing for an inner artist I’d kept very still for too long.

What moved me most wasn’t the speaking. It was being reminded of where the work actually came from. Every flower in this exhibition grew from someone in our community.

Different gardens, different hands, different stories.

All of it woven together.

Art was never meant to be created alone.

And maybe neither were we.
Happy International Women’s Day ♡

Garden Stories
Where lives quietly bloom together.

When I first reached out to Connect Vic Park, I wasn’t quite sure how it would be received. I was asking if I could come into their shared garden and gather flowers for this exhibition.

They welcomed me so openly.

We sat together over tea and slowly, the conversations unfolded. It wasn’t just about plants but about their lives.

Connect Vic Park is a community for seniors who live independently, but choose to stay connected. There are line dancing afternoons, movie nights, coffee catch ups. Gentle rhythms that shape their weeks.

Some shared that before moving there, their days felt much quieter. Now there’s someone to sit beside.

Someone who notices if you don’t show up.

Someone to laugh with.

We spoke about growing older.

About how easily loneliness can slip in.

And how much it means to feel seen.

Meeting them felt special to me and told me they felt the same 🥹

This piece carries their flowers but it also carries those moments around the table.

Blooming Suburbs opens for its final showcase today.

I spent the last few days quietly updating the shop and it feels lovely to finally share it with you. The new frames are live along with the limited edition hardcover book and the pressing kits. Bringing everything together like this feels like a gentle little celebration at the end of the year.

As a small business, every order truly feels personal. It supports my art, my time in the studio, and the slow creative life I am trying to build. Thank you for being here and for choosing handmade work. It means more than I can put into words.

As a little thank you, any orders placed before this Friday will receive a free upgrade to express shipping. A small gift from me to you.

You can explore everything in the shop now. If something speaks to you or you want to gift something thoughtful this season, I hope you enjoy choosing the one that calls to you ✨

Sometimes the smallest pieces carry the most joy✨

I created this little Christmas collection to mark the gentle closure to the year. With so much noise around us, I wanted to come back to what I treasure the most, creating with my hands and building tiny gardens inside a frame.

This collection has been created with you in mind. To bring a bit of joy and comfort into your space or gift it to someone you love. Each piece is soft and simple on purpose. A small reminder to slow down and enjoy the season.

They will be available later this week 🌷

When I said I was launching a course, the reactions were mixed 👀
Some people were excited. Others said, “another course?”

And honestly… I understood. We’re surrounded by them! Courses that promise to change everything in a week, to help us earn more, grow faster, do better. It can feel exhausting.

But that was never what Bloom was meant to be.

It started as a small idea 3 years ago, and took another 1.5 years to make so it could feel kind, simple, and achievable.

Bloom is for those who want to start slow. For those who find calm in making something with their hands. For anyone who wants to press their first flower and feel quietly proud of it.

It’s not about chasing success or building a business (though you could, if you wanted to). It’s about learning something gentle and finding your own rhythm in the process.

I made this because I wanted you to have a way in, a place to begin without pressure.

If that sounds like something you’ve been waiting for, comment Bloom below and I’ll send you the link to join the waitlist 🌸
