Coastal Contours by Tina Coppola

Inspired by the shifting tones, textures and reflective qualities of the Western Australian coastline, Coastal Contours brings together fused glass, texture paste and resin to create a piece with beautiful depth and movement.

Tina Coppola is a Western Australian mixed media artist whose work explores the relationship between texture, light and form. Her use of fused glass gives each piece a sculptural quality, changing as it interacts with the light and surrounding space.

I need your HELP naming this piece… 🌊

This one has been sitting with me for a while, and I still haven’t found the right title.

There’s something about the flowing turquoise, the layers of texture and the way the light catches and dances across the 100s of glass pieces that reminds me of the movement and beauty of the WA coastline.

But I’d love to hear what YOU see in it.

I’m so pleased to share that 'Edge of Stillness' has found its new home, selling at the Churchlands Exhibition.

Layers of textured fused glass, resin and subtle earthy tones create the feeling of water shifting from a richly textured shoreline into the stillness of the deeper turquoise sea. The surface is filled with tiny details, catches of light and organic textures that reveal something new as you look closer.

Thank you to everyone who visited the exhibition and especially to the new owner who chose to make this artwork part of their home and will hopefully be enjoyed for years to come.

✨ A New Year ✨ A New Chapter ✨

After years of creating under the name Glassique Designs, I’m excited to share that my work will now be released under my artist name:

Tina Coppola Art

As my practice has evolved from creating jewellery to producing mixed media wall art, my work has naturally grown into more layered, textural, coastal-inspired pieces. With that evolution, it felt important that my name grew with it.

My work remains centred around glass, but now with a stronger focus on depth, movement, and the feeling of the ocean — capturing light, texture, and a sense of place.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m so grateful, and I hope you’ll continue this journey with me 💗
