Little Gems Bellydance Bellydance classes for children 8-12 with education of the art and culture of dance Orientale. This folkloric dance is joyful and colourful. I also teach adults.

I will teach age appropriate moves and will aim to help with confidence and self esteem.

Long time no see. This came up in my feed. I made this 7 years ago and have performed in it. Costumes are every girls dream. Granted I’m a tomboy but bellydance brings me into my femininity.

Hello to those who’ve recently liked my page. I will do a live soon. The heat here in Fremantle has been a bit overwhelming and I become a hot sweaty mess. So soon I’ll do a little live or video you guys can move along to.
I’ve been dancing for 27 years as a hobby at first. I now teach a bit of Shemiran Ibrahim’s method but I also teach the A-Z method created by Keti sharif.
Bellydance is a folkloric dance first and foremost. It’s a dance by women for women. To celebrate, to help with birthing and for fun and fitness.
For younger females it can help with body confidence. To know that they are graceful and beautiful no matter what.
I teach from home normally. I have taught at community centres for a long time but home is my preference as we can then have a cuppa and a chat.

Happy July folks. I just thought I’d mention I’m thinking of starting a mother and daughter class. Mums with daughters between 8-16 yo. This way mums can bond with their daughters but also can chaperone in order to ensure that they see how the dance works and that it’s age appropriate in the moves taught.
I just want to dance and what better way than teaching groups. I have currently an adult class and thought a younger demographic would be wonderful.
The dance brings body confidence and fun and fitness. Better than sitting in front of the tv or X box.
I’m a mature lady whose raised her son and have a background in counselling and naturopathy.
PM me and please like and share i case anyone you know may like this for their girls.
PS. I am normally inclusive in my other classes but mums and daughters is to help girls with body image and confidence. It’s a bonding experience of the feminine kind. So no offence is intended.
My other classes are open to both genders IF they’re genuine and for the sake of the artform.

Hello! Welcome to my page Little Gems Bellydance! I hope to teach children from the ages of 8-12. I have danced for 26 years, taught for 16 and I’m hoping to teach children the art of this folk dance with age appropriate moves and to help with self esteem.
I have WWC approval and am insured. I believe this dance is enriching and full of grace and the vibrant colours and beautiful music evokes joy in those who partake of it.
I will be creating a curriculum and teaching various styles including Keti Sharif’s A-Z. I have taught adults and children in the past and just want to spread the joy.
