This is such a huge step! 🌏✈️
I’m documenting this trip mostly so I can look back and see the leaps of courage I took in my business. Backing yourself takes massive courage, and I’ll dare say I’m a wee bit proud of myself for going for this.
Securing an ethical, reliable source for my materials (to fix delays, shipping doozies, tricky communication, and other elements that have become challenging the bigger Alesi grows) and building rapport with my manufacturers is absolutely key for this next stage of my biz 🚀
Transparency is everything to me. I’ve always appreciated purchasing from businesses who share where and how their products are made. Each dollar we spend can cast a vote for the world we want to live in.
Sourcing from China I feel has been tainted by heartbreaking conditions in the past, and unfortunately in parts still existing today. After a lot of research I’ve decided that China is my way to go for sourcing my beads, pearls, all the bits! I want to make it clear that I will only be working with suppliers who are also transparent in their practices. I’ll be having face-to-face meetings with these beautiful people, and getting to know their business too. Good vibes only 💃🏽✨
Looking forward to taking you along for the ride! 💓💓
