What started on a whim when I bought a $5 book on beading soon became a hobby, which grew to a passion and can now only be described as an obsession. My first sale was at the school art show, it gave me such a buzz I quickly went on to do markets, host workshops and recently was fortunate enough to be asked to organise a "Beadmat" summer school activity for school aged children at my local child c
are centre which I loved and hope to do more of. The next venture will be children's parties but as my husband works away a lot and I have children of my own it will very much depend on the date requested... ;)
My most recent venture is with Local Labels Noosa on Hasting Street. I can't express in words the excitement felt at having my creations being sold in a shop, not just any old shop but a shop dedicated to locals, a shop with an owner full of passion and inspiration, a shop that I love going into and a shop ON HASTING STREET in NOOSA!!! ;)
All my designs are unique, made with passion in a spur of the moment burst of creativity. Prices are very much dependant on materials used, time taken and sometimes, if I'm honest just how much I love the piece and what it will take for me to part with it ;) if you see anything you like and you can't get down to the shop just let me know and if I don't have it in stock I can make something similar.
