Skadi Jewellery Design is about making a personal statement with hand crafted jewellery which tells a story. Like falling snow, each ornate piece is unique and as intricately detailed as lace. I design and make unique contemporary jewellery and accessories with an antique inclination. I love to transform quality materials such as sterling silver, gold and brass into flattering wearable art. The pr

I'm upgrading my market displays for event season!
My laser cutter which I use to create all my displays and packaging just broke so I had to cut out these dishes the same way I do my jewellery, by hand 🪚

As much as I love to create something elaborate, every so often it's good to make an everyday piece. The kind of thing you can wear to work where you know there's an adorable miniature skull, but everyone else is seeing the elegant floral motif 💀

And here's the finished piece! The Medi and Evil parts have combined to make a lovely Gothic medieval oriel window memento mori 💀

The Joust Ring and it's miniature horsies will be making their first official outing later this month at the Fortress Melbourne Fantasy Party 🪩 I was going to say I'll be the one dressed like a wizard, but I don't imagine that narrows it down on this occasion 🤔

I've had this idea for a perpetual calendar necklace stuck in my head for a while so I used the excuse of Goldfields Gothic Festival this weekend to finally make it!
