Frostmere is now live, and 30 new creations are sparkling away on my website until they meet a soulmate to bring them out from the cold. Each is entirely one of a kind, inspired by the beauty and magic of Winter, and hand-fabricated from start to finish using ethically sourced gems and recycled silver.

What a joy this collection was to work on. From the first inception of the idea to the final polish, Frostmere has been both the hardest I’ve worked in such a short space of time and the most fulfilled I’ve felt from an intuitive passion project. I truly hope you’ve enjoyed seeing it come to life.

As for the Winter Solstice, here is my blessing to you:
May the longest night bring you warmth, peace and wonder. May you find beauty in stillness, magic in small moments, and comfort in the places and people that feel like home. As the wheel turns and the light begins its return, may your heart remain open to all that is waiting to be discovered. 🤍

Here’s a little snapshot of every piece that will be part of the Frostmere collection, along with all their individual details and prices. Everything will be available today from 5pm AEST, just as the sun is setting on the Winter Solstice. If you have a favourite piece from the collection, I’d love to hear it! ❄️

The shortest day of the year creeps closer, and my studio is draped in darkness more often than it is light. Winter holds this little part of the earth in its tight embrace, and her beauty spills from beneath her arms across everything nearby. ❄️

For the first time in a few years, I’ve found the cold more comforting, more whimsical, more delicate, and more awe-inspiring. Perhaps it’s because I’m reflecting on her more now that I’m working on a collection in her honour. Or perhaps I simply needed an opportunity to stop and truly see how splendid the season can be when viewed with an open heart.

I shared my favourite part of the creating process a few days ago, and thought I’d share a little more of it once again. When a piece has been forged, cleaned, sanded, oxidised and polished, she’s then ready to meet the gem she was built for. With Frostmere, the silver gods were on my side, and I was lucky enough to avoid any mistakes that would stop a stone from fitting where she belonged. I spoke previously about it always being a nervous process, but when everything works and a stone settles into her setting just right, there’s a certain kind of magic in it.

There’s more to be done once the video stops. Hand tools are used to curve the edges of the silver around the sides of each crystal. More sanding, more polishing, more testing for durability and comfort. But it’s a little insight into the workings of hand-fabricated designs. I hope it can bring even a fraction of the satisfaction it brings me.

All these pieces (and so many more) are part of Frostmere, a collection of hand-forged jewels inspired by the magic and beauty of Winter. They will be available tomorrow as the sun sets on the Solstice, which is 5pm AEST here in this small corner of the planet. You can get to know all 30 creations in my Frostmere highlights through individual videos, stone and setting descriptions, and information about their prices.

I hope that Winter, in all her splendid beauty, is treating you kindly this weekend. 🤗💕

More adornments of Winter for your fingers, because there’s too much beauty in this season not to want to capture it in silver and stone. These icy treasures will all be part of the Frostmere collection, available from 5pm AEST this Saturday, just as the sun sets on the Winter Solstice here. ❄️

I know I say it often, but every G&T creation is entirely hand-fabricated from start to finish. Every part of the creative process is done by my hands in my home studio, including recycling and refining a large portion of the silver that is then used in my designs. These pieces are no different, each one forged, sanded, set, and polished slowly, one at a time. It means that no two treasures are alike, nothing is made in bulk or by machinery, and nothing is crafted without a strong focus on ethics and sustainability.

Individual videos for every piece that will be part of Frostmere are now up in my highlights, along with details like the gems and precious metals used, ring sizes, and prices. I always love doing this ahead of time, just in case someone needs time to get to know what’s coming without feeling rushed. It’s also a nice way to be as transparent as possible about my work, showing each piece in motion (and natural light) from all angles, while sharing as much information about her as I can.

Over the next two days, I’ll be continuing work on uploading everything to my website, colour-correcting photos to ensure they accurately represent the pieces as they look in person, and writing listing descriptions. It’s a meditative kind of computer work that suits the cold of Winter quite well, especially if it involves a cosy blanket, hot cup of tea and a cuddly cat napping nearby.

If you have any questions about Frostmere, or if there’s a piece in particular you love, please feel free let me know in the comments. I hope the start of your weekend is magical. And not too cold, hopefully! 💕

Frostmere has been forged, and 30 new designs will be braving the cold on the Winter Solstice, this Sunday from 5pm AEST. Inspired by the magic of Winter, each piece in the collection has been hand-fabricated from start to finish using recycled sterling silver, fine silver, and ethically sourced gems. ❄️

Here’s just a handful of what’s to come, as I’m still putting the final touches on the remaining pieces and photographing them all for release. From tomorrow, I’ll begin sharing individual videos, details, and prices for every design via my stories, so wander over there if you’d like a glimpse of what’s ahead.

Frostmere has been a collection born from intuition rather than planning. Unlike so many of my other projects, there were no sketches drawn beforehand, no grand ideas, and no great expectations. I wanted to lean into what felt right each day and create a little whimsy inspired by whichever gemstone I happened to pick up that morning.

A little snowflake here, a gathering cloud there, silver spheres of snow, and stones that look like ice upon your fingertips.

I hope I’ve managed to capture some of the most beautiful parts of this very cold season, and weave them into silver and stone in a way that might bring a little warmth into your life. 🤗💕

Sunlight and moonlight, captured together in metal and stone.
Hand-fabricated using ethically sourced gems and recycled silver, each jewel is the only one of its kind in the universe. ☀️🌙

Part of the Moonfire collection, these shimmering creations are still waiting for their soulmates on the website. Every piece adorning my hand features Sunstone from Sweden or Norway, and Moonstone from Madagascar, Sri Lanka or India, each chosen slowly and intentionally for its beauty and magic. Crafted with so much love. 💕
