A a few weeks ago I cut these lovely Lightning Ridge opals - the top one is full of timber replacement material but chose to keep it in the finished stone - incredibly happy with the end result of it 💜 the flawed stone is full of character and has a gorgeous glow!

Rings in wax - clear quartz and opals - these are pieces I’ve created in wax to then be cast with the lost wax process- BOTH rings will have the stones removed.

The quartz and the Australian opals from Bling Opals Australia will be removed and just the wax ring will get cast from, stones to be added after casting. Interesting process but I don’t know if i have the patience for this. 😂
