I believe jewellery should be beautiful, but I aim to weave a story and add symbolism to my jewellery, to give it greater meaning. I have spent many years working for high end jewellery stores in Sydney, creating extremely fine quality jewellery. The pieces I have loved designing and making the most however are the ones with a story woven in such as the engagement ring with a large sapphire and in
tricate diamond waves holding the stone to symbolise the fact the lovers met through their love of the ocean.... this is what I love to do most. Since 2010 I have been based in Hobart and am currently working from a home based studio. I exhibit my silver collections at a local store in Hobart, The Art of Silver, and plan to expand to other stores as well as to develop a strong "on line" presence. I am very excited to now be able to sell on line and have created ranges of affordable symbolic gold and silver jewellery. I will continue to design and manufacture one off symbolic pieces which will also be available through this store
