Tasmania, Australia Welcome to my world of handmade ceramics!

I fell in love with the clay some 10 yrs ago, but decided to go to a pottery course in 2012. I don't own my studio, or a kiln, so I do all my work at home and carry my items to a local studio for firing. I use coil, slab and pinching technique with red and white clay. I glaze with ready made non toxic glazes. For me, ceramics is a beautiful hobby as I keep a full time day job too. Most of my work

becomes a gift for friends and family who started to make custom orders for me, which makes me very happy, to develop an idea together. Mozak na pasi, which became my pseudonym means something like "idle brain", that's exactly how i feel when building ceramics.. all my problems and issues go away.. :)

In July 2014 I've moved to Australia and am continuing my clay work. In 2017 I've changed my name from Mozak Na Pasi Ceramics to Monika With a K Ceramics because most of my customers here found it hard to spell my name and find me online.

Did you know that during March and April, I plan to move all listings from my beach etsy shop to my ceramics shop and change the name of it? One shop is easier to maintain and has other advantages, so hopefully people don't get confused.
