A few opal display boxes for sale only $15 each. Please note that these pieces have been cut as display pieces and not calibrated for standard fittings (though could be set by the right person).

Local (Harrington) pickup or delivery only.

Apologies for the poor photographs, but the opal colours are difficult to capture As they “dance” around. If I can manage some better pictures I will post them.

A few examples of opal display boxes for sale. The colours are hard to capture in a photo as they “dance” around and change depending on the angle and lighting, but should give a general idea.

Most pieces are free-form and not calibrated for standard settings but make beautiful display pieces or, for those silversmiths out there, could be set.

A parcel of mixed Koroit nut and Yowah nut PICTURE STONES to be listed on Gumtree for $75. Koroit and Yowah nuts are as much sought after for their striking rock patterns as for the opal they may contain. These pieces may contain some opal but are mainly nut rock patterns…but will still make stunning pendants. Would suit someone who makes their own pendants.

If interested I am happy to sell here if not yet sold. Postage would be $11.

Hi all and welcome to my new page. My name is Trevor and I live on the mid-north coast of NSW.

I began cutting and polishing opals and agates some time ago as a hobby and a method of stress relief. Over this time I have cut many pieces which have been put into storage boxes never to be seen again. I’ve decided it’s time to let others enjoy them and will be selling off these pieces.

I will be selling cheap….this is only a hobby which I do not intend to profit from but simply wish to recover my material costs and to pay for my next batches of rough stones.

I have many boulder opal pendants and pendant pieces (mainly Koroit and Yowah nut), traditional opals (single and multi stone display cases), fairy/matrix opal as well as agates from all over the world.

I plan to initially list, in the next couple of days, a few parcels for sale on Gumtree and then Facebook. I will post some photos of these parcels as examples of what I have. I would also be happy to sell through this page.

As I have many pieces I would prefer to sell pieces in bulk which would suit those who make their own jewellery for gifts or to on-sell at markets, online etc. (I would expect that there would still be plenty of profit left in these stones). I would be happy though to sell you that special piece or customise a parcel to meet your needs. Postage would be charged at the standard Aust Post tracked package rate.
