When I was teaching I was often asked about ceramic jewellery making. Not skilled in ceramics it was near impossible to recommend where they could explore this material opportunity. So if you are still interested in working with small clay pieces this may interest you? Gold Coast of course, Bureligh Heads, everyone knows where that is right!

Firebird Studios has whispered they will be running a ceramic jewellery-making workshop, possibly 11th Nov. I do love ceramic jewellery, unique, and earthy, and you can make almost anything with clay. If you're interested contact them directly. I'm just finishing off their intro 5 week intensive but must admit the jewellery elements workshop is very appealing.

Been refreshing my webpage-making skills (been a long time between drinks). Google FREE website making products is incredibly easy. Obviously restricted in features and add-ons but if you're a student, or just getting off the ground, a limited budget but wanting to showcase your ideas and skills, try it.

For those who appreciate something a little different... especially hand-made, unique one-off creations, Lreign creates an ever changing collection of jewellery and wearable art.

Granulation has always eluded my lust to understand it, make it happen. This of course was not available when I was attempting to get my granules to stay where I put them.

Might give it another go when I'm up for a challenge?

I've been exploring wearable embroidered jewellery, love it, need more studio time but maybe tomorrow. What's interesting is everywhere I look it seems embroidered anything is on trend. How did I know? I didn't, just the universe doing it's Mojo on me again.

Oh the shoes, Jimmy Choo of course. Around $850. Limited edition of around 5000 pairs. Definitely not hand made though 😁
